Park Manor returned to outbreak status on 1/3/2022, after a 2nd floor direct-care employee tested positive for COVID-19. All residents on the 700 wing have completed two rounds of testing, and all results were negative. Two rounds of testing have also been completed for staff that were potentially exposed to the positive staff member.
On 1/10/2022, we had two additional employees test positive for COVID-19. One is a direct care contract employee, and the other is a non-direct care employee. All employees that were potentially exposed to these positive employees have been tested, and all results were negative. Any residents that were potentially exposed to the positive direct care employee were tested, and these results were also negative. The second round of exposure testing for all staff and residents will be completed later this week. We also continue to test all unvaccinated staff twice weekly.
While we are in outbreak status, residents are encouraged to wear a mask when out of their room. Although we are able to allow visits for all residents, we would like all visitors to be aware of this outbreak status and the potential risk of exposure during this time. When visiting, please wear your face mask at all times, practice good hand hygiene and follow all other core principles of COVID-19 infection prevention. If you have any questions please contact us!
