Park Manor continues in outbreak status, which began on 1/3/2022. This week we identified a 2nd floor direct care employee as COVID positive. The first round of exposure testing for residents and staff have been completed, and all results were negative. The second round of testing will be completed early next week. We also continue with routine testing of unvaccinated employees, twice weekly based on the high level of COVID-19 in Price County.
According to CDC and CMS guidelines, fully vaccinated residents can choose to not wear a mask in common areas of the facility if the level of COVID-19 transmission in the county is low to moderate. The transmission level in Price County is considered to be substantial at this time, which means residents should wear a mask when outside of their rooms or when a caregiver is providing care to them in their room.
Although we are able to allow visits for all residents at all times, we would like all visitors to be aware of this outbreak status and the potential risk of exposure during this time. When visiting, please wear your facemask at all times, practice good hand hygiene, and follow all other core principles of COVID-19 infection prevention. If you have any questions please contact us!
