Park Manor returned to outbreak status on October 8, 2021 when a direct care worker on 2nd floor tested positive for Covid-19. In response, we temporarily suspended visits based on the most recent guidance from CMS. We immediately began testing all residents and staff, and all results were negative.
This week, the residents residing on 2nd floor and any employees that were considered to have close contact with the positive employee had a second round of testing. We’re happy to report all of these tests were also negative!
We continue to remain in outbreak status, but are now able to resume visits for residents residing on first floor, which includes Garden View (300 wing rooms), and Rivers Edge. As always, compassionate care visits continue in any area of the building. We will continue to follow all guidelines related to visits that were in place prior to the outbreak.
Park Manor continues to be diligent in order to protect all of our residents. This includes following the core principles of Covid-19 infection prevention and routine/outbreak testing guidelines. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for your continued support!
