Park Manor continues in outbreak status, which began on 1/3/2022. A direct care employee was identified as COVID positive on 2/5/2022. All residents and staff that had potential exposure were tested immediately and all results were negative. On Monday, 2/7/2022, a direct care employee that works in all areas of the facility tested positive. During follow up exposure testing of residents and employees, we identified two additional employees, a 2nd floor resident, and a resident on Rivers Edge as COVID positive. Both of the residents are not experiencing symptoms, and have been relocated to our COVID quarantine area, which we currently have on the Birch hallway on Rivers Edge. These residents will be cared for in this quarantine area for 10 days. A 2nd round of exposure testing related to all recent COVID positive staff and residents will be completed at the end of this week.
We continue with all CDC, CMS and DHS requirements and recommendations regarding new admissions, precautionary quarantine, outbreak and routine testing, cleaning and disinfecting, resident activities, and visitation. Although it is safest to postpone your visit to Park Manor until our outbreak is resolved, we are able to allow visits for all residents. In some situations, Park Manor may recommend visits occur in designated visiting areas to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
