Hello residents, resident representatives, family and community members,
Park Manor did our routine testing of all residents and staff on Tuesday and Friday this week. We continue to have NO RESIDENTS WHO ARE COVID POSITIVE! We did have a consultant who has limited contact with residents and one employee who has no routine contact with residents test COVID positive.
Residents who had limited contact with the consultant all tested COVID negative and will have enhanced symptom monitoring for at least ten days. The staff who tested positive will also be in quarantine for at least ten days from the onset of their symptoms or positive test. Because both residents and staff use appropriate PPE including hand hygiene and masks during their interactions and had limited or not contact, it was not necessary to quarantine any staff or residents who had contact with these two positive individuals.
Park Manor will continue with our COVID-19 infection control processes initiated in March to prevent the introduction of COVID-19 to our building. These include daily health screening of all staff, enhanced cleaning, use of PPE by all staff and residents, extra resident symptom screening, increased hand washing/sanitizing, social distancing of residents during activities and limited visiting. In addition, twice per week COVID testing will continue for at least 14 to 28 days until Park Manor has 14 days with no positive tests and Price County’s positive percentage drops below 10%.
We appreciate the support resident representatives, family members and the community have provided to Park Manor during this challenging time. When we do clear this outbreak and wide community transmission in Price County we will be ready to initiate indoor visits.
Please feel free to contact Park Manor administration should you have any questions.
