We are open for indoor visits again today, Friday, May 7th. Park Manor returned to COVID outbreak status on Wednesday, May 6th. At that time, we had to temporarily suspend indoor visits at Park Manor until all staff and residents could be tested. All residents and staff had negative COVID-19 tests on Thursday! This allows us to open up for all visits again.
Unfortunately, as a result of the new outbreak, our second floor 600 and 700 wing residents will need to quarantine until Monday, May 17th. For this group of residents we will only be able to provide social media visits in our building. The residents will be able to attend any appointments outside of the building and special events that may have already been planned.
We will continue to test residents and staff twice a week until we have 14 days with no positive results. At that time, we will be able to discontinue our outbreak status and discontinue resident testing. Staff testing will continue on a less frequent basis. If all goes well this will happen by May 18th.
We would like to remind visitors that visits must be scheduled in advance and all visitors are required to complete a health screening prior to your visit. While we are in outbreak status, visitors must wear a mask at all times while visiting, even if the resident and guest are both fully vaccinated. The resident you are visiting will also be required to wear a mask. Residents who have not been fully vaccinated will be required to have a Plexiglass partition between them and their guest while visiting. Please respect our rules to keep our residents safe!
Feel free to contact Park Manor administration should you have any questions. Also, continue to watch for routine updates at www.parkmanorwi.com or our Facebook page Park Manor Ltd.
