Covid Update
Park Manor continues in an outbreak status, which began on 11/13/21. The last positive test result at Park Manor was on 12/15/2021, a direct care employee that works on the 2nd floor. Two rounds of exposure testing have been completed for all residents and employees that had direct contact with the positive employee, and we continue to test employees that are not fully vaccinated twice weekly. If we have no additional positive test results we would be able to discontinue our outbreak status on 12/30/2021. Although it is safest to postpone your visit to Park Manor until our outbreak is resolved, we are able to allow visits for all residents. In some situations, Park Manor may recommend visits occur in designated visiting areas to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
As COVID-19 continues to spread in Price County and the State of Wisconsin, we will continue to follow guidance provided to long-term care providers by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS).
New Screening Form
Visitors who have had a positive viral test for COVID-19 within the last 14 days, symptoms of COVID-19, or currently meet the criteria for quarantine will not be allowed to enter the facility. We have updated our screening form to include additional information regarding infection control practices for visitors to follow in order to reduce the possible transmission of COVID-19.
Christmas Fun
We have had many fun Christmas activities in December, and the residents enjoyed a Christmas party this week. We had a very nice turn out for our “Giving Tree” event – we are so appreciative of the generosity and thoughtfulness of those that donated gifts for the residents to open and enjoy during the holiday season!
We would like to wish all Park Manor residents, friends and families, employees, and the Park Falls community a Merry Christmas! Thank you for your support!
