Park Manor continues in an outbreak status, which began on 11/13/21. During a second round of exposure testing on November 26th of the 2nd floor staff and residents, we identified a 2nd floor resident as Covid positive. All 2nd floor residents were in precautionary quarantine until all tests for 2nd floor residents and staff were completed, and all of these test results were negative. Both of the residents that have tested positive this past week have been admitted to the hospital for treatment and are expected to return sometime this week. We will be evaluating which rooms these residents can safely return to until they complete their quarantine period.
We continue with all CDC, CMS and DHS requirements and recommendations regarding new admissions, precautionary quarantine, outbreak and routine testing, cleaning and disinfecting, resident activities, and visitation. Although it is safest to postpone your visit to Park Manor until our outbreak is resolved, we are able to allow visits for all residents. In some situations, Park Manor may recommend visits occur in designated visiting areas to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
Thank you for your continued support and patience. We will continue to keep you updated as our outbreak progresses. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
